A growing community of stylists who believe hair care is about more than just hair.
At Papaya, our work is about more than the services we provide. It's about creating a space where we can build meaningful careers without compromising our values, our health, or the way we care for people.
Every member of our team brings their own unique gifts, specialties, and perspective. What connects us is a shared commitment to living intentionally, continuing to grow, and creating an experience that reflects the kind of care we'd want for ourselves and the people we love.
What began as a love for helping people feel confident eventually became something much bigger.
After her husband Trevor's heart transplant, Caitlyn's family started asking deeper questions about the products, ingredients, and everyday choices that surrounded them. As their home became more intentional, she realized something didn't align. She was creating a healthier environment for her family while continuing to work with products that didn't reflect those same values.
That realization changed the course of her career.
Today, Caitlyn is the founder of Papaya Holistic, where she combines holistic hair care, restorative scalp rituals, and thoughtfully selected products to create an experience that's rooted in both beauty and well-being. Through advanced education in scalp health and ongoing training with leading experts in the field, she takes an intentional approach to helping guests better understand the foundation of healthy hair.
More than anything, Caitlyn believes a salon should be a place where people can exhale. A place where questions are welcomed, education is shared, and every guest leaves feeling more connected to themselves than when they arrived.
When she's not behind the chair, you'll most likely find her with her husband and three kids, spending time outdoors, tending to their Highland cows, or dreaming up what's next for the growing Papaya community.
Headspa Specialist and Hair Stylist
Otside of the salon, she’s a winter girl through and through - she loves skiing, hockey, whitewater rafting, and will absolutely go out of her way for a good gluten-free bakery. She’s also a self-proclaimed clean freak - cleaning is basically therapy, and yes, her labels probably all face the same direction.
After having the opportunity to run for Miss Idaho, Aspen walked away with an even stronger belief that every woman deserves to feel confident, supported, and cheered on - which is exactly how she wants you to feel in her chair.
Living with an autoimmune disease for most of her life sparked a curiosity about the body and how connected everything really is. When she entered the beauty industry, that curiosity grew into a passion for clean beauty, holistic hair care, and understanding the scalp as an extension of our overall health.
Aspen loves slowing things down, looking deeper at what’s happening with the scalp, and helping clients understand their hair in a completely different way. Finding Papaya Holistic felt like finding the place where all of those pieces finally fit together.
